EAST VANCOUVER LOCATION TIMELINE |
|
EAST VANCOUVER GRAND OPENING - OCTOBER 2nd, 2011 We made it and we couldn't have done without you! Thank you to so many volunteers that helped us with the build-out of our new East Vancouver location at 709 NE 136th Avenue, Vancouver, Washington (across from Firstenburg Community Center).
We were able to enjoy our first services there on October 2nd. Due to some construction set-backs our Grand Opening services were held outdoors, but God provided us with a break from the rain. God is good!

1ST SERVICES INSIDE - OCTOBER 9th, 2011 We enjoyed services inside on October 9th! Check out some of the lobby pics below.

FINISHING TOUCHES! We have been blessed by many volunteers helping with this build-out process! And we continue to put on all those finishing touches!
COFFEE REVOLUTION - NOW OPEN! Make sure you check out our new East Vancouver location of Coffee Revolution.
UNITING WITH WATER’S EDGE CHURCH! We are very excited about uniting with Water’s Edge, a local church in Vancouver. Our union with them commenced on June 19th, 2011 with one combined service at Union High School.

MY STORY

|
Church had never been a part of my life. I always had an aversion to Christians because of all the hypocrisy that I had seen. And then through a friend I heard about River Rock. I started coming occasionally, because I saw that my friend’s faith was as real to her as anything else. It made a difference in her life and I could see that she was different from other “Christians” that I had encountered before. I was really hurting and looking for hope. So, I gave it a shot and my life has not been the same since. God, through the people of River Rock, has changed my life. I do not know where I would be without this place. I tell people that all the time. (Anonymous)
